They doubt insomiac because they played the first resistance. :/ It was a good launch game but nothing special. It needed more variety and the shooting mechanics felt dated.

I don't think it's doubt really it's just they don't think there will be hugh improvements. Try to look at it from a different perspective. Red Steel sold well and was decent for a rushed game and yet people are saying Red Steel 2 will be aweful. Are people doubting Ubisoft? Of course not.

It's just who you ask and honestly I don't see how Resistance 2 could be bad.

an igorant fanboy who finds it hard to compliment the other console or its games is obviously not going to say "hey look guys, I thought about this objectively and have decided that due to Insomniacs great track record, Resistance 2 should be awesome"

Who said Insomniac had a great track record?

Rachet and Resistance were good games, I expect Resistance 2 to be good, plus a little extra.

I'm not ruling it out, but I find the the comparisons to Gears and Resistance quite laughable. Gears pretty much did everything better than Resistance did.

I don't even have high expectations for Gears of War 2 either.

Keep It Clean Everyone

And now onto my opinion...

Gamers are Jaded thats why there is doubt, some of us have deep history's in the gaming field and do not let teasers overwhelm us.
The Teaser was beutiful and Im am greatly looking foward to the GamePlay on June13th
But Untill we are all sitting down playing Resistance2 there will always be doubt.

Fanboyism aside, we are comparing games with too many unknowns. Bottom line is R1 was a launch title Gears was not. Insomniac are simply put the most experienced ps3 developers to date. R2 will be their 3rd title on the ps3 and judging from the improvements they have made to their game engine since R1 as evidenced by ratchet and clank, i think they deserve the benefit of the doubt. We can't say for sure how far they have come but we will know on June 13th. I will take a break from playing MGS4 just to check it out.

The short and simple answer as to why everyone is doubting the game though is that it is a ps3 exclusive. Same way they doubted Gran turismo and yet they were proved wrong. Just get used to it, as long as the game remains a ps3 exclusive, there will be haters
